In Advanced Construction you'll learn to:

Collars
Sew jacket collars: lapel/notch and shawl collars. Sew shirt and dress collars: Peter Pan and Shirt collars.

Sleeves
Sew sleeves following three different methods. Insert gussets to add more room to a garment.

Seams
Sew French, Flat-Felled and Hong Kong seams. Sew mitered hems and borders and join steep curves and angles.

Shaping
Sew darts, princess seams, and pleats.

Dresses and Gowns
Create two full dresses, one fully lined and one partially lined with invisible zippers.

Advanced Alterations
Take up shoulders on dresses and jackets. Access the inside of a fully lined garment and hem lined jacket sleeves and taper jackets.
